Cudds from Isle of Man

My Cudd Family originated in the Isle of Man.
John McHood married Elizabeth Skillicorn in 1761, had 6 children all under the surname Cudd except for their 2nd (Jane McHood).
Edward b. 1761, Jane b. 1762, John b. 1767, Anne b. 1769, James b. 1770, William b. 1772 (-my ancestor).
William Cudd married Eliza Hodson 1818, had 5 children:
William Thomas Henry b. 1821, John George b. 1823, Edward James b. 1824, Elizabeth Caroline b. 1826 (-my ancestor), Loisa Thomasine b. 1828.
All of these Cudds lived in Braddan, Isle of Man, UK.
I have found more McHoods from IOM prior to when the name generally changed to Cudd, around 1750.
I would be interested to know if anyone has any evidence of Cudds from the Isle of Man emigrating to the USA.
