There seem to be a lot of Cudds in your part of the world! I am descended from John Cudd, who was born in the late 18th Century in the Isle of Man. He was originally John McHood, but at about that time in the Isle of Man they dropped the "M" at the beginning, which is why many Manx names start with C, K or Q. Have any of you North American Cudds traced anyone back to this side of the Atlantic?
