Charlie, I figure we are 3rd cousins since we share a common set of g-g-grandparents. I was telling my Mom (she's 87) about our contact and she recalls visiting "Aunt Rachie", your g-grandmother, in England in the 1930's and also Humphrey and Olive (Binyon) Fielden's family. The boys were Robert, Bernard, Anthony? and maybe one other. The Fielden's visited the Cudworth family cottage in Ontario in the same decade - we have a movie of them there.

Olive would be a sister of your grandfather Binyon (what was his name?) and if her son Robert is your godfather, he is also your father's cousin and your first-cousin-once-removed. I'm puzzled by your comment that Robert is not his real name.
