Hi Natalie: My name is Sandra (Tallman) Nickerson my great grandmother was Philena (Cudworth) Tallman. I am in possession of the Cudworth Genealogy edited and revised by Arthur Cudworth. On page 31 I find the following: "4-02 Kezia b. in Scituate about 1696 mar. July 24, 1712 William Davis, b. 1688 son of William Davis and Mary Makepiece. There children were (a) William Davis b. in Freetown, Mass. Feb. 23, 1713 mar. Elizabeth Paine of Freetown." Then it goes on to list the other children. There is nothing else mentioned about Elizabeth Paine such as her parents. Sorry? Hope this helps. I would suggest researching the records for the town of Freetown, MA (the Town Clerk's office). I have been most successful finding information thru the clerk's office of any town. Perhaps you could try a "Paine" message board??
