Hi Bonnie
So nice to hear from you - I think we must have MSN Messenger because my daughter is always on it but I don't have an account and don't really 'like' the idea - no particular reason - I think its just that when I get going on writing a message, I have to 'concentrate' and the older I get, the more I have to concentrate!!!
My e-mail address is [email protected]
I have booked my week in Ireland - I am in search of the Doyles - if I had a bit more info on the Culligans I would look for them but it seems a bit of a longshot - we have visited Longford (city) some years ago but I know so little about John Culligan - at that time I hadn't found his marriage record so did not even know who his parents were - hopefully I will be able to go there (County Longford) if Patrick and Emilie turn up any more info.I think the best lead at the moment is his mother's surname which may be easier to trace - or if we try and find villages where there are both Huie and Culligan families in the late 1800s.
Glad to hear you got a copy of the descendants of John and Mary - too bad someone didn't do an introduction with a bit of histroy - would have made it more interesting.
Must go now - keep in touch.Your cousin, Carole
