I am helping a friend with her Culverwell line. She has George Culverwell bn c 1823 Devon (as per 1881 census) and Sarah Culverwell (nee WALKER) bn April 1836 Cheshunt Hereford. They appear to have been living in Kensington London (England) from the time of their marriage (speculated to be around 1857-8), though marriage record has not been located. Children of the marriage George bn c 1858 (married Elizabeth, one known child), Frederick, Emily, Archibald, Annie, Joseph (from memory). Emily migrated to Brisbane Australia, and Annie was said to have married William PERKINS, a railway engineer, and migrated to Argentina. Whilst there at least 2 children born (Margaret and Grace), but when William died, Annie returned to London with her childre. A subsequent marriage occurred (though name not known) and Grace ended up in Brisbane Australia with her aunt Emily Culverwell. Unable to locate George and Sarah in 1851, 1861 or 1871 census, although sarah (as widow) confirms her pob as Cheshunt Herefordshire in the 1891 census. Interested in any information related to any of the persons listed above, Thanks Lesley Melbourne, Australia Notify Administrator about this message?
