I have been helping a friend with her George Culverwell line which goes from London back to Devon/Somerset.

I endeavour to help others if I can...but as you are no doubt aware, sometimes the time delay can limit the relevence of a response!! My own family - Champion - traces back to Bridgwater and North Petherton (took me 30 years through Channel Islands and Dorset to get to them but as a result, whenever I see Bridgwater or North Petherton I tend to pick up my ears.

Actually, in looking at your families tree, I noticed what may well be one of those unusual coincidences. Your family had a 25 year old niece staying with them - an Elizabeth PERKINS, bn Blackwood, Monmouthshire. My friends ggrandmother was an Annie Culverwell who married a Perkins, though the marriage record has yet to be located. Do you know anything of the backgrpound of this Elizabeth PERKINS ??

Hope you enjoy your researches
