Mary Jo,

Sorry for earlier post; I should have dug through my family records first! The Hezekiah Culwell whose grave you've found was not my great-great uncle, but a distant cousin, son of my great-great-great uncle, Andrew Jackson Culwell. My records show the Hezekiah Culwell you've asked about was born in December 1839 in Washington Co., AR, oldest of 13 children of Andrew and Jane Privett Culwell. I've got annotated this Hezekiah Culwell served in Company G, Collins Co., Texas Volunteers, 11th Texas Cavalry; and that he died on 21 May 1862 in Madison, Canton Co., Mississippi. I have no other information on Hezekiah, but do have some info on his father. Please let me know if this helps and if you'd like information on his father. If you take a digital photo of the grave monument, I'd be most grateful for a copy.

Yours truly,

John Priddy
