My ggrandfather was Thomas Culwell b. 1850-60?, his wife's name might have been Betty. Thomas had a farm in Greens Creek, TX outside of Granbury,TX sw of Fort Worth in Erath Co. I know they had one son Samuel Lee b. abt. 1881 - d.abt.1958 in Waco,TX. Samuel married Nellie Maude Van Zandt an they had 3 children. Clyde, Claude, and Carrie Elizabeth. Carrie was b.1907 - d. abt. 1964.
I know Samuel Lee Culwell was a Methodist preacher(circuit rider) and Thomas might have been one as well.

Please email me if we have any connections.

Thanks,
Phil
