From the VA Calendar of State Papers p 597 there is a letter dated April 25, 1789 from John Evans, County-Lieutenant of Monongalia, to Governor Randolph discussing the massacre. If you will reply directly to my e-mail address I will attach a copy of it to an e-mail. Also there was an article in the Pittsburgh Gazette May 2, 1789 concerning the massacre. The text of it is on web page of "The Cumberledge Family of Greene & Monongalia Counties" but I have temporarily misplaced the address. I will try to find it and send it to you.
