I recently had the good fortune to visit Ireland and Clonfert. I met quite a few of the Cunniffes in the area and we came to the conclusion that our g-grandfathers were brothers. Apparently, a Thomas Cunniffe came to Clonfert from Co Roscommon in the mid-19th c. to work with horses on the Pollock estate and all the Cunniffes and Conniffes in the area are his descendants. That being the case, I'll claim you as a cousin also.
