I have found James Cunningham born in Ireland and Mary "Polly" Miller.

David Cunningham
Hugh Cunningham
Nancy Macally Cunningham.

my mother has stories:
The parents came to America on separate ships with other family members from Ireland or Stocland. The men came on one ship while the wifes and child (if any) came on another one. It took them 3 months. Possilbe landed in Virigina, Homestead in Covington, TN. That was when they had Jonathan.
Please let me know if you have any additional information
