Found a little info of interest. There was a marriage license issued in Feliciana on Sept 20th 1820 to George Cuppless(w/2 s's) and Elizabeth Clark. the list said a bond was issued. I went to the courthouse in ST Francisville, but Bond Book A was missing and that would of been the right book, was unable to find the marriage license either. In 1820 George would of been between 30 & 40 and Elizabeth was between 20 & 30, the 1820 census shows 1 female between the ages of 0 - 10 so it makes you wonder if one had a child from a previous marriage. Anyone living close to St Francisville or Clinton might try to follow up and share what you find.
