Mollie Box was the daughter of Methodist minister, Rev. Allen Marion Box and Christiana McIntosh. They came to Tx from Montgomery Ala. in 1850 and were sent to Lavaca Cty, Wash., Polk, Harriston, etc by the church. After he died in 1876, Christiana went back to Cuero,Tx.in DeWitt County and lived with her son, G.P.Box (who was the county clerk there from 1900-1925). I found Mollie listed in the census and suspect she was also called Mary.
I would love to know what happened to Mollie after she married Cupples.
