Charlotte, We have got to have some sort of tie-up as your ancestors given names are the same as my ancestors. I know that's not always conclusive but here's my lot as far back as I know:

Joseph George m. Jane Pollock (date unknown)

Alexander b. 1858
David b. 1859 (my g granddad m. Marg.
Ledlie in Banbridge)

Eliza b. 1860
Jane b. 1863

Archibald b. 1880 (my granddad m. Sara Bell
in Banbridge)

Archibald b. 1902 (my father b. in Banbridge)

David and Margaret left Banbridge in 1908 to live in Fresno. My Granddad left in 1904 to live in Toronto, then Fresno, then NZ.
Belfast is only a few miles from Banbridge as you probably know and cousins from the other side of the family (the Bells) were in Belfast.
I wonder.
