I am also descended from John Tyree Curl through Joshua and his second wife Jane Adaline West. I have traced John T. back to North Carolina but have not been able to prove his parentage; however, I believe it was William Curl who is listed in the 1800 census of Chatham County, NC with five sons.
Would like to share info.
