i'm sure since this comes late you might have already found the blisland parish information. and the history of the border wars when his father was wounded by the indians defending fort buchan william was taken by the indiansso was rebecca his sister. they were recovered supposedly taken to blisland where they were taken care of by relatives.later they are joined when william joins the revolutionary effort. thanks lea
