Lea,

There is much confusion between the William Curl that lived close to my great+grandfather Charles Botkin for 38 years and the Willima born in Blisland. There is no proof they are the same. The William that lived close to Charles we believe had a sister Jemima that married my Charles and she is my great+grandmother. I have seen a story on Jeremiah Curl at Wests Fort being wounded but not at Buchan. I have also seen a story about a Curl being captured by Indians but have not confirmed it. (Lone Wolf) There was a William Curl that served in the militia during Dunsmore's War in 1774 but I have not seen anything during the Rev War proper. Can you expand on any of your stories?

Contact me directly at my email at mallen@onramp.net

Thanks,

Mark Allen
