Mindy,

Always glad to hear from someone in the family. I have not proven that Bennett was Richard Curl's father. I have found some information on Bennett.

Bennett Curle married Isabella Binns on June 26, 1782 in Henrico Co. Virginia. I also found Bennett Curle listed in a index of taxlists for New Kent Co. Virginia in 1790 and 1800.

Bennett Curl is listed in the 1820 Indiana Census, living in Harrison Co, with the following living with him

Males
Under age 10 = 1
Ages 10-15 = 2
Ages 16 - 25 = 1
Age 45 & older = 1

Females
Ages 16-25 2
Age 45 & older = 1

Hopefully by research Bennett, someone can find the proof to link him to Richard.

Let me know if you discover anything at the Curl reunion.
