Those Curls 30 mi North of Toronto that you mentioned would be my Grandfather's family. Geophery Curl, married to Inez. He had several brothers and sisters too that lived nearby. He left a post on this site a while back. I think the subject was "Curls in Ontario". My Grandfather is the Grandson of one of the Curls (Richard?) that immigrated from Christcurch, Hampshire and settled in Scott twp. But, you'd have more luck contacting him about that.
