Noticed your recent Curl post and thought I'd throw some ideas your way. There was a Jeremiah Curl that arrives in Champaign/Clark Co. OH around 1811/12 his line seems to be difficult to trace. Since a William Curl and my Charles Botkin (who married a Jemima Curl) were also in Clark, Jeremiah may have connections to William.

My George Botkin s/o Charles moved with some of his children to Dewitt Co. IL around 1843/45. Some Curl (as you know) also moved to Dewitt. Perhaps some of this will help.
