The particular names you mention Joyce are not familiar to me but I am just finishing my husband's family history and his great grandfather Eliel Curl came to Australia in 1851 and so too did Eliel's sister Charlotte Curl who had married Samuel Neal in Buckinghamshire in 1846 so there is probably a connection somewhere. A good place to look is the Hanslope & District Historical Society web site as this is where our family of both Neals and Curls originated and perhaps yours too. Good luck Margaqret.
