Lorraine: I don't know what degree of cousins we are but certainly we are related. I find that quite exciting. I do have a Jane Pain as being married to William March but I think I have been pursuing an incorrect line since the only Jane Pain I can find was born in Cannington, Somerset. That is close enough that it could possibly be the right one but certainly distances at that time were quite different from today. I have been given access to a Pain tree on Ancestry but am begining to believe it is the wrong one. By way of information, I live in Idaho, USA having moved from my native England in the 60s. Thank you for taking the time with me. I am relatively new at genealogy so anything I pick up is invaluable. Many thanks, Brian Woodford
