Curlin's of Aran Islands

My ancestors were Curlins, living on Inishmore, Aran Islands, Galway, Ireland. They came to the U.S. about 1850, and settled in MA and somewhere along the way the name changed to Curley. There don't appear to be any Curlin's left on Inishmore (none in the phone book). The other family name, also of Aran, is Flaherty. Do any of you have Aran Island Curlin roots?
