Looking for Curnutte-Lusk connection
Posted by: Barbara Date: January 05, 2000 at 08:14:02

I am looking for information on a THERESA/TERESSA, CORNUTTE/CURNUTTE who married MARCUS LUSK/ the son of Harrison Lusk and Nancy Matilda Hall;
Marcus Lusk was with his parents in the 1880 Carter Co Ky census, so I am assuming he married after 1880, which would make him abt 30 years old.
Theresa Curnutte could have been younger, or she could have been a widow Curnutte.
So I guess I am looking for a Theresa who was a Curnutte or married a Curnuute, anyway, I have not seen a Theresa Curnutte in any 1880 census in Kentucky. Can anyone help me. Was Curnutte an Indian name????. WE believe that Nancy Matilda Hall was Indian. She married 1st Henry Dawson and divorced and married Harrison Lusk in March 19, 1858.
Barbara
