Hollis Newman and Guy Curnutt spent Sunday with John and Ben Parks. Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Watson and Mr. and Mrs. Butler Abbott spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Curnutte. 7-18-1912 Grandview July 15. There was a birthday dinner given at Mack Parker’s Sunday in honor of Master Lee Parker, it being his tenth birthday. The following children attended the dinner: Hollis and Herald Newmon, Paul and Dennis Montgomery, Guy Gail and Thomas and James Curnutt, Marion Andrews, Allen Blevins, Omer Fake, Ben and Bob Parker, Helen Newman, Grace Curnutt and Florence Blevins. 7-25-1912 Grandview There was a birthday dinner given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Curnutte in honor of Guy, it being his 14th birthday. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Alvia Andrews and family, Mr. and Mrs. Will Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Jones and Hollis, Herald and Helena Newman, Paul, Ethel and Dennis Montgomery, Alma, Florence and Allen Blevins, Bob and Ben Parker, Jennings Jones, Omer Montgomery, Merea Watson and Ora Curnutte. The evening was spent in eating ice cream. All report a nice time. 9-26-1912 Grandview September 23. Ethel Montgomery and Grace Curnutte spent Sunday with Alma and Florence Blevins. 11-28-1912 Grand View School Neither tardy nor absent: Raymond Griffith, Lee Parker, Hollis Newman, Dollie Waller, Guy Curnutte, Allen Blevins, Nora Andrews, Thomas Curnutte, Bessie Thronburgh, Mary Goddard, Gracie Smith, Harold Newman, Ira Goddard, Gail Curnutte, Robert Parker, Florise Waller, Gladys Goddard, Forest Blevins,k Benj. Parker. 1-3-1913 Grandview Christmas was very properly celebrated at Grandview school house, and there was a crowded house present to take part in the exercises, and help to distribute the mementoes of the occasion. After a short song service, followed with prayer and a short address, the program was presented which was as usual at Grandview, a good one, as follows: Welcome Drill – Eleven boys. Recitation – Helen Parker “Nobody’s Child” – Grace Curnutt Drill –“For Everybody’s Stocking” Recitation – Forrest Blevins “The Winter Child” – Seven young ladies There was an Xmas dinner given by Mrs. Lizzie Parker Xmas day. It was also Grandma Parker’s birthday, she being 73 years old. Those present were Ross Griffith and family, J.W. Hall and family, Mack Parker and family, M.D. Montgomery and family, Tom Curnutte and family, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Montgomery and Misses Dollie and FLorine Waller and Mary Montgomery, Messrs. Tom Winton, A.N. Wentz and John Jones. All report a dandy good time and an up-to-date dinner. 4-15-1915 Prairie Center April 12. Those who spent Sunday at the Morrison home were Grace and Lee Curnutte, Dora and Edna Mills and Joel and Clyde Price. 2-22-1917 (Lula Trotter) Willow Branch Mrs. Nettie Curnutte and Mrs. Charlie Richardson spent last Friday with Mrs. Juel Bennington. 12-18-1930 (or 1913?) Grandview Mrs. Curnutte called on Mrs. Dobbs Friday morning. Roy McClure and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. T.G. Curnutte, Sunday. 7-23-1931; Mrs. J.E. Dobbs Grandview Mr. and Mrs. Gail Cornutte returned Tuesday from a visit of several days in Tulsa. T.G. Cornutte went to Welch on business, Saturday. 11-10-1932 Eagle Gail Curnutte and family visited at the McClure home Sunday afternoon. 11-3-1932 Grandview Elmer Curnutte and wife, Opal Waller, Lake Parker and Paul Dobbs were business callers in the R.F. Parker home, Tuesday evening. 3-2-1933 Eagle Mr. and Mrs. Otto Joseph and Mr. and Mrs. Rube Whaler of Coffeyville, Mr. and Mrs. T.G. Curnutte and Mrs. McDonald of Bluejacket, Mr. and Mrs. G.R.
