I am also reseaching the Curnutte line from KY. My Grand father was Hiram Allen CURNUTTE he married Martha Ann MOORE, they were from Lawrence Co. My grandfathers parents were James CURNUTTE and Sarah Jane JORDAN. My grand mothers parents were Samuel T. MOORE and Susannah JUSTICE. If you come across any of these names I would be interested in them also. I have also heard that the Curnutte's came from Ireland but I have not been able to document the time frame? I will list the dates I have Of birth and Deaths of my curnutte line to see if they tie in with infomation you have.
Hiram Allen born 20 dec 1882 died 21 jun 1969
James Curnutte born 25 sep 1836 died 28 apr 1895
William Curnutte born 1810 died 1880
John Tolliver Curnutte Sr. born 1774 in VA.
(Their wifes in order)
Martha Ann Moore born 5 may 1889 died 8 mar 1961
Sarah Jane Jordan 27 mar 1841 died 1 feb 1922
Polly (or Marry) Berry born 1812 died 1852
Deresa Chaffin no dates known
I hope this is helpful and if you have other information I would love to hear about it. Leslie
