While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of the following obit. I am in no way related to this person, but wanted to post the obit in case it is helpful to someone else. Lowell Sun Lowell, MA May 4, 1926 CURRIER - William S. Currier, a resident of this city for the past 17 years and formerly of Newburyport, died last evevning at his home, 603 Wilder street, at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 8 days. For many years Mr. Currier was associated with his father as a ship builder at Newburyport, later taking the business over himself and in 1900 completed one of the last four-masted sailing vessel that was built in New England. He is survived by his wife, Hortense S. (Hart) Currier; one son, Malcolm H. Currier of Miami, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. C. Stoyle Baker of this city; two brothers, Freeman M. Currier of Newburyport and Arthur P. Currier of Clifton, and three grandchildren, C. Stoyle Baker, jr., and Grace V. Baker of this city and Gloria V. Currier of Miami, Fla.
