The Benjamin that I am looking for had a daughter, Mary Josephine b. 1840 in Haverhill, Essex Co. MA. She married John Wesley Bailey 8 Nov. 1862 In Chicago, Illinois. They also lived in Green Lake, WI.

1850 Census lists:

CURRIER, Benjamin blacksmith 34 MA
Louisa A. 34 NH
Joseph H. 13 NH
Charlotte A. 12 MA
*Mary J. 9 MA
Susan 7 MA
Charles B. 6 VT
George S. 3 VT
Alice E. 5 mos. WI

I believe his wife was Louisa Ann HOYT and I have documented this marriage in the Vital Records Haverhill MA to 1849 on line.

Anyone with Currier folks in Wisconsin?
