Sorry Pat, I should have written that my Currier family was from Maidstone,Vermnt. My gr-grandfather was also known as Fred,Frank & Alfred. Talk about confusing when researching someone??? I'd had the information about Francois since the beginning but couldn't connect him to Alfred until I got confirmation of his sister,Aurelie. Alfred Currier is in Philip's book,Volume II, page 285. My grandfather was Amos Currier. I have records from NH Vital records which has their parents names, and from there, I've searched ancestry's collection of baptisms in Canada to find the others. The other confusing part, is that on the vital records(death)from N.H. that I got, their mother sometimes had Duperron as a last name & Lavertu/Lavertue on others. Her first name is seen as Mary/Marie & Angele. It took me a while to confirm if I had the right parents with all the dual names that they used. On another note, I'm connected to another Currier family through my grandmother who married Amos Currier: Bernice Woodward 1899 - 1973 Frank Woodward 1861 - 1939 Louisa Bean Woodward Nathaniel "Martin" Bean David Bean Nathaniel Bean & Susanna Currier Next is through Nathaniel & Susanna (Morrill) Currier.
