Help!
I'm hoping someone has seen a Napoleon Currier while researching their Currier family. His death cert states he was born in Hatley, VT July 12, 1868. Some of the censuses state he was born in French Canada and Hatley seems to be in Canada (both of his parents were born in Canada) rather than Vermont. He had children in both Iron Bridge, Algoma county, Ontario, Canada and in upper Michigan. Most of the info I have shows his name to be Paul Currier but I finally found the birth record for his daughter, Mary Ellen (born June 24, 1898 in Ontario), and his name to be Napoleon.
This birth record shows his wife to be May Thesen. She did go by the name May but I have found her as May Lashbrook or Thursay May Lashbrook.
This has been a brick wall for my Currier tree. I'd be more than happy to share the info I have! I'm throughly confused!
Kathie
