I have William as the son of George Cutsinger and Jane Barlow. Her brother is my ancestor. Jane was born in Washington Co KY. They were married 7 Mar 1808 in KY. About 1815-20 or so several families came from Washington Co KY/Adair Co KY to Shelby Co IN. This included George Cutsinger and a brother or two, as well as Lewis Barlow and family, Jane's parents.

The Barlow family came into Culpeper Co VA in 1717 as part of the 2nd Germana Colony, Christopher PARLEUR being the first ancestor. Lewis is his grandson, through Jacob's line. Lewis married Judah Smith.

I have the children for George and Jane as: 1) John b 27 Dec 1808, d 8 May 1857, m Jane Williams, had 6 children; 2) William b 7 Mar 1813, d 18 Jul 1893, m 13 Dec 1831 Parthenia Dupree, had 13 children; 3) Mary b 1804 KY, m 27 Jan 1826 Alex Blair;
George married 11 Feb 1836 Clarissa Jett, b 1801. They had one child Sally Ann, b 1836 IN, m 1851 Chas Dugan.

George's parents were John Cutsinger and Anna Phillips, and resided in Adair Co KY, immigrating from Germany about 1795. Brothers John Jr and Martin came with George in 1820 to Shelby Co IN.
