The 1830 census for Stark County, Ohio, identifies a Jacob Cutshall (born in 1805). His neighbors were the John Cutshall family and the Valentine Cutshall family. Valentine Cutshall appears to be the father of Jacob and John and of the five children living in Valentine’s house. (two boys and three girls). At that time Jacob had one son, who must have died prior to 1840. In 1840, Jacob and Lydia moved to Fulton County, Henry Twp, Indiana, and John moved there sometime between 1841 and 1850.
Jacob and Lydia had a total of nine children, including my g-grandfather, Arnold.
My records indicate that John and Jane had four children.
Subsequently, John and Jane moved to Bunker Hill, Miami County, Indiana.
