Thankk you for the response, Julie

Additional reearch indicates that I misconstrued the relationshiip of Valentine, John, and Jacob Cutshall. The three were brothers. Jacob moved to Fulton County, Indiana in 1841. John moved to Fulton County sometime between 1841 and 1850. Jacob was married five times, apparently losing the first four wives to illness. John was married 3 times: to Elizabeth Friday 24 May 1824, Elizabeth Lightenwater 27 Aug 1829, and Jane Hood 23 May 1850. John had 4 children: Leonard (1837), Nicholas (1841), William T. (1841), and Eveline (1854). William T. was publisher of The Akron Globe (1866-1870) and served as Akron's postmaster during that time. In 1870, he moved to Huntington, Indiana.
