Thank you for responding.
There has been some confusion as to Nancy Celina Sexton's parents. Mary Ann Gilbert (born 1764), wife of John Sexton, cannot be the mother of Nancy Celina: she would have been 64 years old when Nancy was born in 1828. (I have a photo of her grave stone attached to my Ancestry.com tree - Holmberg-Higginbotham.) I can also put you in touch with a cousin who has extensively resarched the Sextons and the Cutshalls.
Nancy Victoria Cutshall was the daughter of Nancy Sexton and Jacob Cutshall. She is my gggrandmother. My grandfather, Jack Smith, is Nancy's grandson. He was not a preacher.
