Hello Jon,

Thank you for the Cutts quotes from Thomas Jefferson. If you would like to send me an email direct to the email address listed here for my login, I can add you to my Cutts family of New England distribution list. I also have a scan of a hand written note from Thomas Jefferson to Richard Cutts requesting Richard to dine with him. I can send a picture of it to you directly.

I have a WORD document showing all descendants I have found so far of the original three Cutts brothers (John, Richard and Robert). It is over 200 pages of small type at this point and continues to grow with contributions from Cutts cousins.

By the way, you are correct, Richard D. Cutts was descended from the original Robert Cutts of Kittery, Maine. My wife, Judith is also descended from Robert as follows:

Ancestry of Judith (Shanley) Petrie

Generation 1: John Cutt & Bridget Baker

Generation 2: Robert Cutts & Mary Hoel

Generation 3: Richard Cutts & Joanna Wills

Generation 4: Deacon Thomas Cutts & Dorcas Hammond

Generation 5: Samuel Cutts & Sarah Hill

Generation 6: Thomas Cutts & Sarah Colburn

Generation 7: Samuel Cutts & Dolly Bray

Generation 8: Thomas Cutts & Mary Victoria Elliott

Generation 9: Lenora ("Nora") Cutts & Horace Jackson Hendee

Generation 10: Anna May Hendee & Clyde Clifford Pierce

Generation 11: Mary Anna Pierce & John Timothy Shanley

Generation 12: Judith Margaret Shanley & David Allen Petrie
