The Summer 2010 issue of ANTIQUES AND FINE ART magazine on p. 160 pictures two portraits of Colonel Thomas Cutts (1736-1821) and his wife Elizabeth Scammon Cutts (1744/45-1803), of Saco, Maine, painted by John Brewster, Jr., ca. 1796-1801.
These fine portraits should be made known to the Cutts family. I am scanning them in case any of the descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the families ought to have them--they are too good to be missed by the family. They may not have extensive genealogy value, but they certainly do have a whole lot of family and historic value.

If they were portraits of an early Pease family, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me.
