Thanks for your reply! I also have red hair, my grandfather had red hair. I did not know if his red hair came from the Dabbs or the Hams. His mother was Louisa F Ham, daughter of Stephen H Ham and Mary Kimbro. My oldest child had red hair too. But I get red hair from my mother's branch also. In fact both of my grandfathers were redheaded!! :)

Just wanted to know if the Dabbs were passing down the red hair. I am related to Rev Richard Dabbs and he was affiliated with the Baptists. I did not know there were Quakers in our line, but really it seems like every branch of religion is found in the Dabbs. I have not really delved into that, but it seems that I have found quite a few different religions while searching Dabbs.

It is good to "talk" to family. I love this researching business. It is like the game Clue to me, and I have always enjoyed playing Clue. :)
