Thanks, Glynis, for taking the time to reply to my query. It seems that everyone has slowed down considerably on the message boards. When I first began my journey to solve our family mystery, this Dabbs board was rocking and rolling! :) I guess we are getting as slow as our economy. lol I was not able to go back to Nashville in June as I so hoped I could do. It has now been over a year since I spent a week in your lovely city. It was so much fun visiting your State Archives. When you go to the cemetery, could you check to see if Henry is enumerated with the others that were moved in 1957. I would appreciate it very much. I was told by a lady at the state archives that there are many graves that were moved who are unknown to us now. Henry is not listed with the others on the Dabbs Cemetery Removed enumeration online. If we cannot find his grave-site today, I am believing that he was one of the unmarked graves moved with the other family members. Maybe his mother, Rev Richard's wife, was one of them also. She is not enumerated with the others that were moved. So maybe she is there, but has an unmarked grave. Also, could you tell me if the monument of Rev Richard was erected close to the time of his death or the Grand Lodge later memorialized him with this monument? I am assuming John R Dabbs' monument was erected by his widow around the time he died!!?? Dale Notify Administrator about this message?
