Alabama Marriage Records: Will F. Dabbs married Jan 1843 in Marshall Co. AL no spouse name listed
1920 and 1930 AL Marshall County census a Willie Dabbs b. 1911/1912 s/o a Zack Dabbs and Annie Singleton. (Brother-in-law named Singleton in Dabbs household 1930)
Social Securtiy Death Index:
Will Dabbs b. Dec 18, 1911 died Sept 1978 last address Union Grove, Marshall County, AL SSA Card issued in Louisiana
By the way the only Zelma Deshotel I find at Ancestry is listed in the Louisiana Death Index:
Zelma Speyser Deshotel b. 1850 d. Dec 22, 1927 age 77 St. Landry Parrish
Looking at your other posts the name Zula Deshotel is mention as being in a 1940 photograph. I find a Zula Deshotel in the 1930 Louisiana, Allen Parish, Police Jury Ward 5 b. abt 1916 d/o of a Albon and Isabella Deshotel.
There is a family tree online that has a Zula Marie Deshotel b. 1919 d. 1973 in Rapides Parrish, LA married a Eugene Hunley with 6 children listed.
