I am researching a pension claim and came across a name on a request that I would like to verify. As near as I can decern, it is G. Wm. B. Dabney of Richmond , signed by him on 21 April 1837. Does this appear to be a real person? He was forwarding a pension application. I can send a copy of the letter if more information is needed.
