Dear Richard,

I don't normally follow up the spouse ancestry, so I had not looked until just now into the origins of my earliest Dadd, George baptised Dallington, Sussex 1834. According to the IGI, his parents appear to be Thomas Dadd and Elizabeth who had 11 children between 1823 and 1841, all baptised at Dallington. The only apparent marriage I can find that may fit is 'Thomas Dads' and Elizabeth Colbren at Litlington,Sussex December 1821. As fro Thomas's origins, I really could not say. Perhaps a census trawl mat help, but unfortunately I have not yet acquired any of the Sussex census CDs.

Kind regards,
Bob Swan
