I would like to know more of Rody Daffern, your gggrandfather. I have found the spelling "Daffern" used for people I have been researching along with spellings such as Daffin, Daffrin, Daffon. One is particular is a Rhody Daffrin, Daffron, Daffine, Daffin that was living in maryland in the 1760's, a "planter". What was the age of your Rhody Daffern of N.C. in 1810?
