We have traced my lot back to the late 18th century - then hit a blank wall because a vicar didn't realise he was supposed to record births! We have seen his original record book with a written apology in it.

It would be great to see your family tree. My father holds more info than me, but he's not web-enabled. I will see if I can build a version for you. Feel free to mail an attachment direct if you wish.
