It's nice to here from more Dafferns. Well reading your website i had to start asking my Dad about our surname,well my Grandfather name was Selim Harry Jack Daffern he had a twin sister but never talked about her,he also had several other bothers and sisters,one brother we do know the name of is George who is beleved to have moved to either America or Canada and might have worked on the railway. We don't know his fathers name but he worked as a butler in Eton,London,Jack was also born down in Eton. So if anybody has got any information on the persons mentioned i would like to hear from you.Thanks
