Hi Dianne,
In my research, I have picked John Scarlet as the most probable one to be the father of Anthony Logan. I can find no hard evidence to prove this. The only hint to John's age is the 1830 census when he was between 20-30. He sold property in 1838 and his wife Mary T signed by making her mark. In 1842 he married Mary Evans. Had two wives named Mary. Believe he died in 1847. Children Emiline, James M, Logan and Indiana were with Mary in Harbison Twp Dubois Co. Believe this to be his second wife. I could go on.
