I'm trying to figure out where my Marlin DAFFERN/DAFFRON fits in with the DAFFRON's of KY, IN, AR, TX and if they descend from Rhody & Milly, here's what I've gathered so far:

Marlin DAFFERN (could be Martin or Marlin Martin)
b. 1848-1850 IN (Source: Census data)
d. Bef 1887 (Wife remarried Dec 1887) I believe in TX (Child Martha Ella was born Jan 1882 in TX)
Married: Bef 1876 in AR (First child b. 1876)

WIFE: Susan Alice QUINN
b. Aug 1856, Sevier Co., AR (Source: Census data)
d. 12 Feb 1912 Navarro Co., TX (Source: Norman Hanes)

b. 1876 in AR (Source: 1880 census data)
d. Bef 1910 (Source: 1910 census her mother Susan A. now BOLIN states she has had 7 children, 3 living, she has her twin daughters Essie & Jessie BOLIN living with her and my g-g-grandmother, Martha, is now married to my g-g-grandfather, so I'm assuming Malinda has passed)

Martha Ella DAFFERN (my g-g-grandmother)
b. Jan 1882 in TX (Source: Census data)
d. 30 Mar 1960 in McFarland, Kern Co., CA (Source: Norman Hanes)
Married: Samuel Tolliver HANES Apr 1910 (Source: 1910 Navarro Co., TX census)

CENSUS findings:
1880 Jackson, Little River Co., AR
Head: Marlin DAFFERN b. 1850 IN, Farmer
Wife: Alace DAFFERN b. 1860 AR
Daughter: Malinda DAFFERN b. 1876 AR

Directly above them is:
Head: D.L. DAFFERN b. 1844 KY, Widowed, Farmer
Son: John L. DAFFERN b. 1874 AR
Sister: Louisa McFarlane b. 1848 IN, Widowed
Son: Clayton b. 1876 AR
Brother: Freelen (Freeland) b. 1855 IN, Single
Nephew: John b. 1862 TX, Single
D.L., Louisa, Freelen, and Marlin all state their father was born in KY mother in VA.

1870 Hopkins Co., TX census:
Head: Marshall DAFFRON b. 1802 KY
Louisa DAFFRON b. 1846 IN
Martin DAFFRON b. 1848 IN
Freelin DAFFRON b. 1853 IN
Obviously the dates are slightly off from the 1880, but close enough to be probable.

Then I've got Marshall again on the 1860 Titus Co., TX census, but no Marlin/Martin:
Head: Marshall DAFFRON b. 1802 KY
Malinda b. 1810 VA
John b. 1835 KY
William b. 1840 KY
Lewis b. 1843 KY (might have married Lerna SISSM, IGI rec at LDS)
Louisa b. 1845 IN
Martha b. 1848 IN (Could this be a mistake, should be Martin?)
Freeland b. 1853
Jefferson DAFFRON b. 1831 IN
Catherine b. 1843 IN (looks like Jefferson's wife)

Living nearby in the same Co. is:
Head: David DAFFRON b. 1835 KY
Susan R. b. 1842 TN
Mary M. b. Feb 1860

Marshall is possibly James Marshall DAFFRON. I'm unclear as to how many children Rhody & Milly had and if my Marshall is their son or grandson, or any relation at all for that matter, there are a lot of conflicting trees out there. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for reading.
