One of my ancestors, William Blackstone, had Jacob Daffron as a witness on his land grant. My Blackstones came to Titus County, Texas about 1859. Richard Blackstone was born in South Carolina like Jacob Daffron. I wanted to learn more about the migration paths of Jacob to determine if the two families knew each other. I have found Jacob on the 1860 & 1870 census records but I don't have access to the earlier ones. Can anyone tell me where he was located in earlier years? Please email me at clperdue@swbell.net Thanks so much.
