I haven't found a birthdate or the marriage date for Elmire. But I was looking at my database and found that one of Elmire's sisters was married in Michigan in 1904.
I have a couple of questions - who is the nephew? is he on the dagenais side or the roy side.
where did Charles and Elmire live during their lives, where are they buried?
there was a priest called Fr Labelle who was suppositively tracing the lineage of all the pioneers in Pontiac co. When he died they sent all his personal papers to an archive, but I don't know which one - church archive or a provincial archive in either pontiac county or the one in hull. there maybe an answer in his papers.
another thought - where did they own property, the land office may have a copy of the marriage certificate on file or maybe the probate office might have it.
