Richard Daggett/Doggett, b. 1480's

Does anytone know if Richard, b. 1484 in Groton, Suffolk, England, father of John Daggett/Doggett, b. 1510 in Grotton, Suffolk, England, could possibly be the same person as Richard, b. 1481, in Groton, Suffolk, England, father of Alice Doggett, b. 1520? The dates could certainly be off by that much. If that's the case then John and Alice would be siblings or half-siblings, and Avis Lappage and William "of Boxford" Daggett/Doggett would be first cousins, once removed, or something like that.
